Columbia is located in Maury County, Tennessee and has a population of over 33,000 residents. Columbia is self-proclaimed to be the “Mule capital of the world” and celebrated Mule Day annually every April. Columbia is also the national headquarters for Sons of Confederate Veterans. The city is also home to Columbia State Community College, the first community college in Tennessee.
